REID MEETS WITH NEVADA COUNCIL ON DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

Washington, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid met with members of the Nevada Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities today to discuss its work to serve and advocate on behalf of Nevadans with developmental disabilities. Reid met with Chairwoman Mary Bryant and Executive Director Sherry Manning to discuss key issues facing the Council, including the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act and employment for Nevadans with developmental disabilities.

AFP Announces First in a Series of Webinars on Employment

The Alliance for Full Participation has recently launched a major initiative to improve the employment infrastructure, services and outcomes for people with developmental disabilities. As par of this initiative and and to bring awareness to the cause of increasing employment for people with developmental disabilities, The Alliance is hosting a series of quarterly webinars.
